Heart's Day

This blog entry is very late for the heart's day but I'll write it just for you. Do you notice that I don't prefer saying Valentine's Day? In the Philippines, Valentine's Day is called "Araw ng mga Puso". In English, Heart's Day. That's why hehe.

During this day every year, we always want and expect boys to give us flowers, chocolates, letters, etc. Just like others girls, I also wanted to be given a gift by a boy but I didn't expect it every year. So what I do is I asked my mom or my dad to buy me some flowers or chocolate. That's how single girls like me do. If they don't ask their parents, they bought some themselves. Insane right?

But for me, boys don't really matter. What really matter is the people who are always there for you. The people who have thought you during this day. The gift that we receive doesn't matter. It is the thought that counts. That's what my teacher said.

I am happy even if I don't have a boyfriend. In fact I am very satisfied with my heart's day because I spent it with my friends that loves me very much.
