These last days, I always go to the mall for my review for entrance exams. While in the car going to the mall, my curiosity strikes in every person who goes out of the car. I always think where will he/she go? Why is he/she going that way? What will he/she do? My curiosity wants me to follow every person I look to.
Based on Wikipedia, curiosity is an emotion related to natural inquisitive behavior such an exploration, investigation and learning, evident by observation in human and many animal species. I can relate to this. But I don't have the guts to explore and investigate other's lives. Of course, I don't want anyone to think that I am a spy trying to enter their own lives. Who am I to ask them my questions? I am not even a reporter or something trying to get their biography, love life etc. They might think I'm weird.
Curiosity is also one of the characteristics a scientist has. Does that mean I can be a scientist? Nevermind. I never thought that. I love how scientists make an experiment. It's cool. But the explanation to their experiment? No thanks. I don't even understand their terms unless they explain it to me one by one. In that way I can enjoy science. Okay, back to the topic. I know that I am not the only one who observes people and is curious about their lives. Curiosity is not bad at all. In fact, it's good. Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci are some of the people who have this characteristic. Don't you like it? You can be a famous painter, scientist, mathematician or anything you want just because of your curiosity! Your curiosity can make you GENIUS!!! You just have to develop it.
Don't be afraid to ask people. Don't be like me who don't have the guts to ask people. But be careful of the things you want to say. Don't forget about the feelings of others. Don't forget to WATCH YOUR WORDS.
