So it's our vacation now and I'm searching for some anime to
watch. It's actually my hobby to watch anime and read manga. I have to admit
that I'm an Otaku since I was a kid hehehe. I'm really in to shoujo anime and
manga but I also watch and read shounen. This summer vacay, I've already
watched Ao Haru Ride, Sukitte Ii Na Yo, Kimi Ni Todoke and Shingeki No Kyojin.
I already watched Kimi Ni Todoke before when I was still in High School. It's
just my favorite shoujo anime hahaha.
Shingeki No Kyojin aired in 2013 and I just watched it
recently. Yuck, I'm a weakling! I'm really busy in school. Anyway, it caught my attention. For me, it's the most
amazing anime that I've watched. It's epic! It's different from the other anime. It's really
unpredictable. I think its apocalyptic genre is one of its strength because I
love apocalyptic films like zombies, end of the world. Yeah, I'm a bit weird.
It's also has that mysterious side where no one knows where Titans came from
and there are so many if they can't reproduce on their own. The gears and
equipment they use, the back stories of the characters and the setting are one
of a kind.

It's really hard to think of something that characters will
use to kill the Titans. One must have innovative thinking to come up with those
ideas. The stories of the characters mold their personality. Eren Yaeger, the
main protagonist, has a strong will to become a Survey Corps, a branch of military
that is involved in direct Titan combat, Titan study, etc. outside the walls
that surrounds the city to protect the people from the Titans. He acquires this
strong will because of his mother's death from being eaten by a Titan. I think
most of the characters have an interesting story -- why they fight and what's
with their strength they're showing. The setting is also amazing. There are 3
walls surrounding the city, Wall Maria, Wall Rose and Wall Sina. They stand 50
meters tall and they actually have a good design to protect the civilians. I
think the mangaka really put a lot of effort in thinking and imagining about
this manga. Kudos to the mangaka for writing a wonderful anime!
Although ... Season 1's quite a cliffhanger. The questions, "Where
did Titans come from?", "What is the mystery behind the Colossal
Titan and Armored Titan?", "What is really inside the basement of the
Yaegers' house?" and "Will they defeat the Titans and save humanity?",
are not yet solved! In this season, they just show Eren Yaeger and Annie
Leonhart transform into a Titan and fight each other and that's it. It badly
needs season 2 hahaha.
There's actually a season 2 but it will be in 2016 (not 2018 -- I don't know why their poster shows September 2018). It's too
long but they make OVAs to make the viewers still on the track (I don't know
the word lol). Anyway, few months left to wait for season 2, 8 months I think *sarcastic laugh*. It'll be definitely worth
the wait. I'm sure of it.

is really interesting ... and helpful hahahaha.
