“You will never get all that you want.”
That’s the saddest part of life. You know what? Getting all the
things we want will not give us the happiness we thought it could give.
Everything has a reason. Maybe God doesn’t give us what we want because it’s a
bad idea or maybe God will not give it YET because He wants us to give an
effort He wants us to give.
“You will never get all that you want.”
You are not doing what is right. Maybe the reason why you don’t
have what you want is because you did something wrong or you’re doing something
wrong. Will you get your dream car if you’re not doing anything? Will you
receive an award or a medal if you keep on cheating? Don’t expect you’ll get
what you want if your heart is not pure. God gives His people a gift that
he/she truly deserves. Evaluate your life. Think why you’re on that situation.
Don’t blame everything on God. We have a free will. We control our lives. Who
should be blamed? God or us?
“You will never get all that you want.”
Acceptance. Satisfaction. Wants should be lesser than needs.
Sometimes being satisfied with what God gave and is giving to us is the key to
happiness. We thought we lack a thing but we don’t notice that we have all that
we need. God. Christ. We search and search and search. Looking for things we
want. There’s nothing wrong about it, but forgetting what we need and what we
want most is a fault we should fix. Do you think the richest man on earth is
happy with just his money? The true happiness is not receiving material things.
It’s more than that. True happiness is
love – love from God, family, friends or special someone. Giving love and
receiving love is the best gift God gave to us.
